I’m excited to present almost.nude, my first independent photographic publication — a visual project centered around the aesthetics of the female body, reduced to what matters most: form, emotion, presence.
This first edition gathers over 60 photographs created as an intimate study of beauty beyond convention. Not beauty as perfection, but beauty as tension, character, softness and attitude — often closer to fashion imagery than traditional nude photography.
Shot entirely in studio, this series was created with a stripped-down approach: minimal staging, precise light, real emotion.
At the center of the project is Caroline, a model with striking, uncompromising features and a rare visual presence. Her face carries tension and delicacy at once — something I wanted the camera to hold onto.
Rather than produce classic nude imagery, I wanted these photographs to feel suspended somewhere between editorial, portraiture and intimate observation.
A major inspiration in framing and mood was Peter Lindbergh, particularly his way of revealing women through honesty rather than ornament.
During post-production, the images were shaped with subtle analog grain to give the series a tactile, film-like atmosphere — something raw, imperfect and alive.

almost.nude is not simply about nudity.
It is a visual project about essence.
No distractions.
No excess styling.
No noise around the subject.
The model carries the image.
The work is built around trust between photographer and muse — a space where emotion, vulnerability and fragments of truth can appear.
These photographs are as much about observing another person as they are about revealing something of myself through the act of looking.
My name is Michał — photographer and independent publisher obsessed with the way images feel.
I create visual work where the gaze meets form, moving between the precision of the studio and the raw poetry of the human body.
My practice is driven by a fascination with how we consume images, how intimacy can exist inside composition, and how photography can become something tactile rather than disposable.
I don’t only photograph subjects.
I design the sensation of looking.
Somewhere between fine art, fashion and visual fetish for light, grain and skin — that is where my work lives.
And almost.nude is perhaps the purest expression of that.
