Assassin Roommate is a comic about an unlikely pair of roommates who maybe experience love, arguments, and murdery things together.

Volume 2:

When you love someone and set them free, then crush on someone else in their absence because the person you loved can never return but then they DO … it’s complicated.

After sacrificing Kurt in order to save his life, Mags has moved on and is completely over him. Just kidding, now she’s hyper-fixating on avoiding love while investigating the agency that had kidnapped her. But once you keep poking that bear, eventually that bear is going to notice. Can she handle the repercussions of her actions? Oh and also her growing feelings for Jason?? In the meantime, Mags starts to delve deep into her family history, trying to unravel the complicated way she was raised. Jamie explores her own frought past via reconnecting with an old flame, who happens to be Mags’s new boss.

It goes without saying (I’m totally saying it anyway) that when you’re an assassin, you’re bound to have romance issues.

Volume 3:

Mags is moving up and away from her old life, now that she’s finally where she belongs as the next generation of family leadership at DAGDA. But her chosen family of Jamie, Kurt and Jason strongly disagree she’s there willingly, and are ready to risk any amount of pummeling while wearing fancy clothes in order to restore the Mags they knew.

But memories both past and present can be tricky to restore. What if the past you knew was untrue? Or the present is too murky to decipher? Or you’re still having issues remembering your ex-boyfriend now that your ex-ex-boyfriend is back and working on himself in such a sexy way??

Buckle up for Book 3, where the dynasties of the Dino Hood neighborhood aren’t the only ones vying for power by any vicious means at their disposal.

The goal of the Kickstarter is to get the comic formatted for print and into your hands as quickly as possible! The more we raise the more stretch goals we can offer, which will be revealed as the campaign progresses. We think everyone will be pleasantly surprised by each!

So, what am I getting for my pledge? All backers at the $45 tier will receive the Volumes 2 and 3 softcover graphic novels. Books will be printed at 5.7"x8.2" - with each having approximately 120 pages of content (approximately 240+ pages total combined)! Please note: both books are being produced at the same time, so if you back them both you'll receive them together.

In the interest of transparency, it should be noted that we have been given permission from Kickstarter to run a higher frequency of campaigns across our brands as an "experienced creator in good standing".
