A collectible visual and conceptual magazine structured around one idea, the true nature of strength, built through a system where imagery, symbolism, and narrative intent work together to reinterpret what strength looks like today. Inspired by familiar heroic language, CODE II doesn’t present strength as something fixed or simplified. Instead, it breaks it apart and rebuilds it through visual composition, contrast, and character, creating a space where control and vulnerability coexist within the same frame.

We start from something simple: strength is never clean or isolated. It doesn’t appear as something fixed, but in moments where things are slightly off... when you hesitate, when you adjust without thinking, when you keep going even though something inside you is still catching up. It’s not dramatic. It’s just how people actually hold themselves together.
CODE II takes that idea and places it inside a visual system built on familiar codes of power, the kind of imagery we already know: heroic bodies, controlled presence, something that feels strong at first glance. But what interests us is not the surface, it’s what’s happening underneath it. The small tension behind posture, the way control is maintained, the parts you don’t fully see but still feel when you look twice.
The intention is simple: to bring you back to a more grounded version of your own strength, without the empty motivation or surface-level narratives that dominate everything today. CODE II doesn’t push you toward a final answer, it brings you back to yourself in the moment you are in. And that changes every time you return to it. That’s why it can be revisited endlessly, even in fragments, because it doesn’t guide you forward, it reconnects you inward. In a world built on image and performance, this is not about becoming someone else, but returning to what is already there: a stronger, clearer, more honest version of you, built through consistency rather than illusion.

The images in CODE II are built with restraint. They are not meant to create spectacle or demonstrate unnecessary complexity, because the focus of the project is not visual virtuosity, but what happens in the relationship between image and text.
The figures act as an immediate point of entry. They represent a sense of control, presence, and certainty that requires no explanation. But the writing does not comfortably reinforce that reading. It moves somewhere else, quieter, more internal, where doubt, emotional control, and the ability to hold yourself together without clear answers start to appear.
As you move forward, that difference begins to create a constant friction. What you see feels solid, but what you read does not always confirm it. And that is where the project truly sits: in that space where strength stops being a surface and starts to be understood as something built from within, often from what would externally be perceived as weakness.
The focus is not on spectacle, but on the ideas that emerge through the interaction between image and text. That contradiction is not something we try to resolve. It is the core of CODE II.
CODE II has been conceived as an editorial piece that exists within a specific moment in time.

CODE II is the result of several months of editorial work, where writing, illustration, and visual direction have been developed together within a unified narrative structure.
The magazine contains 33 pages in A4 format and is printed on glossy coated paper, designed to provide a clean and luminous surface where the contrast between text and image can be experienced with clarity.
The project brings together independent illustrators who have worked under a shared creative direction, ensuring a consistent visual identity throughout the entire publication.
Beyond the technical process, CODE II originates from a very specific idea: how two elements that are usually presented as opposites can coexist. On one side, the public image of strength; on the other, the far more intimate experience of what it actually means to carry it.
CODE II exists because we decided to take an unconventional editorial idea all the way and turn it into a real object.
But more importantly, it exists because people chose to support CODE I when things were not simple. Many of you stayed, trusted the process, and allowed the project to move forward even when the path wasn’t clear. That matters more than anything we could write here.
This second release is built with that experience behind it. More structured, more refined, but coming from the same place: making something real, without shortcuts.
