Daniel Miller, his girlfriend Elizabeth Anderson, and their friends experience a normal college life until a student is found dead in the library. Fearing Daniel may be framed due to past conflicts, the group—including Daniel’s sister Lily—begins their own investigation. As dark secrets emerge, anonymous threats warn them to stop. The season climaxes with the group uncovering the unstable murderer, forcing them to confront the truth and end the terror.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Danni: The Untold Story is an animated mystery-drama series inspired by college life, friendship, and the dark consequences of obsession.

This project is deeply personal to me because animation and storytelling have always been my way of expressing emotion, tension, and human flaws. With this Kickstarter, I aim to produce Season 1, a suspense-filled story that blends mystery, drama, and character-driven storytelling into a compelling animated experience.

This campaign will fund the production of the first season, covering development, animation, sound design, and final delivery to audiences and backers.

SEASON 1 STORY SUMMARY

Daniel Miller, his girlfriend Elizabeth Anderson, and their friends are living a normal college life when a student is found dead in the library. Due to past conflicts, suspicion begins to surround Daniel. Fearing he may be framed, Daniel, Elizabeth, his sister Lily, and their friends launch their own investigation.

As they uncover dark secrets, they begin receiving anonymous threats warning them to stop. Tensions rise as paranoia spreads, leading to a dramatic climax where the group exposes the unstable murderer—someone driven by obsession and hatred toward one of the main characters—ending the reign of terror and revealing the truth behind the crime.

BUDGET BREAKDOWN

If funding exceeds the goal, it will be used to improve animation quality, add voice acting, and expand episode length.

RISKS & CHALLENGES

Creating an animated series involves several challenges:

Production Delays: Animation is time-intensive. To manage this, we follow a structured timeline with clear milestones.

Technical Challenges: Software or rendering issues may arise. We use reliable tools and allow extra time for testing.

Funding Limitations: If funding is lower than expected, some features (such as animation complexity or voice acting) may be scaled back, while keeping the core story intact.

Team Availability: As an independent production, scheduling collaborators may be challenging. Clear communication and flexible planning will help mitigate this.
