Monica Lanie is a single mom and a recovering alcoholic. A chance encounter leads Monica and her intern, Craig Kendall, to spend their nights fighting organized crime in the Twin Cities. When she’s behind on sleep, people assume Monica is hungover. But she can't correct them, so she must live with the label... her son's Drunk Mom.
In Issue #3, Monica meets two new characters Dr. Trad Fischer (inventor of the Hohlraum suit) and Sarah Faraday (inventor of The Inducer’s electric gun). (Eagle eyed readers may remember them from The Avandrus Theory #1). This is where Monica meets them for the very first time as they demonstrate the team’s cool, new crime-fighting tech.
If you like grounded superhero stories focused on the main character’s dual lives like She-Hulk, Jessica Jones, Spider-Man, The Flash, Raising Dion, and Invincible, you’ll love Drunk Mom.

Both the Manuel Carmona and Lisa Nguyen variant covers will both be available on a black t-shirt. Both are available as an add-on to any physical reward.

Drunk Mom currently has a 12-issue arc that is fully written, with several future issues already in production. Variant covers like those below will only be available through the Kickstarter campaigns!
In Issue #1, we saw a chance encounter with muggers lead Monica and Craig to try their hand at crimefighting as She-Knight and The Chevalier. Their first encounter throws Monica’s whole routine off the rails!
In Issue #2, we saw Craig power up the Hohlraum suit for the first time. This stresses Monica and Craig’s relationship as it was an extreme escalation from the street-level heroics of Issue #1. Both issues are available as add-ons.

The quality of the comics is also improved, as they are experts in their craft. Crowdfunding allows Raised By Bears to continue to invest in artists, to bring you high quality indie comics, with regular releases multiple times
a year.
