paralas

hi, my name is abdellaya. i was dreaming to create a story like this since a long time. i started by crafting some dragons or monsters with paper. and then i started to create stories with them, and when i grew up, these stories inspired me for this project that i called Paralas. Paralas is a comic and a worldbuilding project that i first imagined as an epic fantasy story with magic, monsters and demons. but then i realised that it was an already extremely common theme, and that it would be too complicated to write for me. so i take a more realistic and less fantastic way. thats when i watched this awesome anime that the Apothecaries diaries was, and that i discovered sea of thieves that this idea came to my mind. let me present you the world of Paralas. this world in term of culture look a lot like our world, but the similarities stops here. the first continent is shaped like an U, the west side being covered by savannahs and deserts, and the east side being covered by jungles and mountains. the lower side of the U is covered by snowy toundras. the second continent is inspired by Asia. the climate is mostly temperate with some really cold areas on the south, and the landscaped are covered by grasslands, deserts and forests. there is also an archipelago of island on the east side of the continent that have a similar climate. each of these areas have a culture that is inspired by a real life one, like the jungle area of the east that is inspired by the golden age of piracy, or the north of the second continent that is inspired by imperial china. there is also a dinosaur like intelligent specie that live on this world called the carnivas. they have multiples subspecies adapted to their environments, like a savanna specie or a semi aquatic one. if i manage to get enough money for this project, all of the gains would go to the artist i'm working with. i'm not making this project for money, but by passion. thank you for supporting me
