I’m a self-taught potter working from a small garage studio in the misty hills of the High Peak.

This project started on a simple dog walk with friends and my daughters. We were out in the hills, chatting as you do, and somewhere in that moment the idea for these mugs began to form.

I’ve always been drawn to simple objects — things made well, that serve a real purpose and feel good to use.

These paw print mugs are about that idea. A warm drink on a cold, wet day, a dog or cat curled up nearby, and something in your hands that feels familiar and connected.

Each mug is individually made from your pet’s paw print and turned into a personalised design you can use every day. The aim is simple: an everyday object with meaning, not just something to sit on a shelf.

Each backer receives 1 personalised paw print mug in their chosen colour (Grey, Red, or Green).

After the campaign ends, you’ll be sent a Kickstarter backer survey where you choose your colour and upload a clear photo of your pet’s paw pads. This is essential for creating your design.

This is a small first run of only 20 mugs. I’m learning and building as I go, and keeping it limited means I can focus on making each one properly and making sure everything is delivered as it should be.

Because each mug is handmade and individually personalised, slight variations will occur — this is part of their character and what makes each one unique.

Everything is made by hand, and each piece is created individually from your own pet, so no two mugs will ever be exactly the same.
