Salt & Sons: A Pacific Northwest Wine Bar & Kitchen

Salt & Sons is a Pacific Northwest wine bar and kitchen built around community, sustainability, and the incredible producers of our region.

Our goal is simple: create a welcoming neighborhood space where people can gather over thoughtfully sourced wine, honest food, and the stories behind the farmers, fishermen, vineyards, and makers that define the Pacific Northwest.

At Salt & Sons, every bottle and every ingredient will have a connection to place. From local vineyards and orchards to fisheries and small farms, we want to highlight the people who grow, harvest, and craft the food and wine we love.

This project is about more than opening a bar. It's about building a community table.

Project Story

Salt & Sons began as an idea rooted in loss, resilience, and the belief that good food and wine bring people together.

After navigating the transition of my father's business and estate, I found myself at a crossroads. Rather than walk away from the hospitality industry that shaped my life, I decided to build something new—something that honors the Pacific Northwest and the people who produce its food.

Salt & Sons will be a wine bar and small kitchen focused on:

• wines from the Pacific Northwest and small global producers
• seasonal food made with locally sourced ingredients
• partnerships with farms, fisheries, breweries, and vineyards
• community events, tastings, and producer spotlights

The space is designed to be intimate, welcoming, and deeply connected to the region around it.

The funds raised will go toward essential startup costs including:

• upgrading our point-of-sale and inventory systems
• building out a functional bar and kitchen
• sourcing initial wine inventory and equipment
• marketing the opening to the community
• ensuring the space is accessible and welcoming to everyone

My background in production, events, and hospitality has taught me how powerful shared experiences can be. Salt & Sons will take that same philosophy and apply it to food, wine, and community.

This project is about building something lasting—a place where people gather, stories are shared, and the Pacific Northwest is celebrated one glass at a time.
