I have spent 20 years establishing myself as a songwriter and musician in this industry, (30 years if you count my adolescence 😋) and I am so excited to independently release my sophomore album: Sara Van Buskirk (Self-Titled)

I am proud to say that I have written with Grammy Award Winners Kam Franklin and Kevin Morby on Kam Franklin's debut album Land of The Neon Sun, produced by Margo Price. I have also collaborated with Allison Russell, Emmylou Harris, Maren Morris, Brittany Howard, Brandi Carlile, Brittney Spencer, Mary Gauthier, Amanda Shires, Lilly Winwood, Devon Gilfillian, Lucie Silvas and more as part of the Tennessee Freedom Singers. I have opened for Joe Ely, Liz Phair, Danielle Ponder, Lucinda Williams, Jason Isbell, Mavis Staples and more. I am the founder of Georgia Park Studios, a two-time SACI Grant recipient, and a Houston Arts Alliance grantee. My work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Billboard. I am a voting member of The Recording Academy and I continue to push the boundaries of roots music.
