The Twisted Peach

During the last 45 years, I started out in the restaurant industry at the age of 12 as a dishwasher, and worked my way up to Executive Chef. My Passion for food started with watching my Grandmother cook for our large Family. She made everything from scratch, and bartered and traded with our neighbors for vegetables and proteins. My Grandmother Also started the kitchen and bakery at Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl in the mid 50's. Living in a small Catskill mountain town here in upstate, New York did have some advantages. Being from a farm town that also had a thriving tourist trade gave me plenty of kitchen and bakery time and work.

Over the years I have honed my skills and learned the ways of the restaurant and hospitality business. Also, saw that there is a lack of a few basic life skills that everyone should know, especially the younger generations. That is why I trained and became a Certified Food Safety Trainer and A Food Safety Manager. Three of my goals for this venture are 1: to bring fresh, Locally sourced food to the communities that I will serve. 2: I would like to teach as many people as I can how to find, prepare and cook meals for themselves and their families and friends. and 3: to teach food safety, preparation and storage of foods so they have a secure and safe source of food for decades.

I have a very good team that is up to the challenges and make them successes. My Wife Patricia is a top notch baker and Sous Chef. My Daughter Grace is an amazing server and spokesperson. My Daughter Emily is amazing with Cakes and Pastries, My Son Ben is a top tier Pizza and Pasta maker and My Son Miles is a very gifted manager and keeps everything up front running smoothly. The one thing that makes everything I do worth the effort is when we get a smile on their face and say" That was really Good"

We are going to build a following of people that enjoy affordable meals, That are Homemade and fresh. I want to build a scalable business bringing the passion, Culinary Education and elevated flavors to as many people and communities as possible. We strive to bring the best experience to our Catering venues, Private Chef Services and Education Workshops and classes. And we hope to bring you along for our journey, taking the first step by bringing our Catering Trailer and mobile classroom to life.
