“I'm not a mystical kinda guy, but I swear that hatred pierced my soul that night." 

Dr. Mateo Meyer's patient, Todd, insists that the rumours on the internet are true—the young woman who died at The Wormhole club fire was murdered. Todd also swears that her murderer, Vorticia Vortex, has been stalking him ever since. Mateo investigates the internet's mysterious creation, determined to get to the bottom of this Vortex madness that has taken over his patient's mind.

What started the online rumours about the events at The Wormhole Club? The police have no idea how the fire started, or how the spontaneous human combustion happened. The evidence? Grainy, out of focus videos and photos of Vorticia, standing in the burning nightclub, while the victim burned to death outside. Anyone with common sense would think that this is an AI generated creation, but past events with similar patterns seem to be connected as well. Before he realizes it, Mateo gets caught up in the rabbit hole himself, and a shameful secret he's hidden for decades resurfaces. 

Meanwhile, other humans and beings watch the Vorticia phenomenon closely…

The Wormhole Club Tragedy was drawn on Procreate (except for the original covers for issues 1, 3-5, and the Calgary Expo Edition cover for issue 2). No A.I. was used for this book. 

Similar to Gehenna: Death Valley, The Wormhole Club Tragedy was written and illustrated by Becka during her spare time…then during the pandemic…and back to when she had spare time again. Unlike Gehenna, she worked with editor Drena Jo (TWIZTID HAUNTED HIGH-ONS), and Sam Noir (CAULDRON Magazine) helped out with lettering when Becka was busy on another project. 

Featuring Kickstarter Exclusive pinups by James Edward Clark (The Florida Hippopotamus Cocaine Massacre) and Jonathan Kociuba (Grotesk Comics), available in two Rewards and Add-Ons:
