Tom & Jenny: A Story of Impossible Redemption

What Is This?
"Tom & Jenny" is a story about God's impossible redemptive power, told through two songs and a cinematic music video that brings the full narrative together. 

What Is It About?
Song #1 – "Jenny"
"Jenny" follows a prostitute who encounters the risen Jesus, who reminds her of her true worth—as a daughter of the Most High God, made in His image. Jesus offers her a way out and invites her to leave that life behind and return home to the Kingdom of Heaven. 

Song #2 – "The Unraveling of Tom Riscatto"
This song follows Jenny's would-be client, Tom Riscatto. When Jenny never shows up, her pimp begins hunting Tom down, believing he had something to do with her disappearance. As Tom is chased through the night, he’s forced into a life-or-death decision that pushes him toward his own moment of redemption. 

The music video will bring both stories together sequentially, functioning less like a traditional music video and more like a short film, allowing the full story to unfold on screen as well as musically. 

The Purpose
This story is meant to reach people who feel like “damaged goods” or “too far gone.” It challenges the lie that anyone is beyond redemption.
At the same time, it serves as a reminder—especially to women, but truly to everyone—that we are worth far more than a counterfeit love. People are not objects to be used or discarded. Every person is created in the image of God and has immeasurable value.
While on earth, Jesus didn’t spend His time with those who believed they had everything together. Instead, He sat with the people who knew they needed saving—and He still does. 

The Ask
As many of you know, creating music at a professional level can be expensive. A single professionally produced song often costs over $1,000 to complete. When you combine that with a cinematic, story-driven music video, the costs add up quickly.
That’s why the goal for this project is $7,000. 

Where Your Money Is Going
100% of the funds raised will go directly into bringing this project to life. 

The first $4,000 will cover:
• Song production and mixing
• Payment for studio musicians
• Professional mastering
• A third bonus song, which will be given exclusively to supporters who contribute $100 or more 

The remaining $3,000 will go toward:
• Film production
• Cast and crew
• Equipment and filming costs 

What Happens To Extra Funding?
Every gift you give will not go to waste. If there is any excess funding, it will be put towards new music. 


What Happens If We Don't Reach The Goal?
Kickstarter uses an all-or-nothing funding model. If the campaign does not reach the goal by the deadline, you will not be charged and all pledges are automatically canceled.
